The effect of CNM additives
of the characteristics of different concretes

The introduction of carbon nanomaterial in the amount of thousandths of a percent by weight of cement leads to a change in the properties of concrete:

  • increases the compressive strength and the bending strength of concrete;
  • increases the flowability of concrete mix.

CEMENT-SAND MIXTURE

Dependence of compressive (A) and bending (B) strength cement-sand samples from type of CNM. Data obtained on the first day after the heat treatment for 1.5 h at T = 50° C. The content of carbon nanomaterial - 0.006% by weight of cement.

The increase in compressive strength at 143% and the bending strength at 285%
Dependence of compressive (C) and bending (D) strength cement-sand samples from type of CNM. Data were obtained at 28 days. The content of carbon nanomaterial - 0.006% by weight of cement.

The increase in compressive strength at 42% and the bending strength at 26%

The increase flowability of the concrete mix when adding CNM enable to reduce the mixing water content of 15-25%

HIGH-STRENGTH CONCRETE

FOAM CONCRETE

Time dependence of the compressive strength for different types of CNM. The content of carbon nanomaterial - 0.005% by weight of cement

The increase in compressive strength at 18%
Kinetics of changes in the strength of foam concrete. The content of carbon nanomaterial - 0.05% by weight of cement

The increase in compressive strength at 88%
